Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m John-Paul Flintoff. I live in north London, near Hampstead Heath. My work often shows the people and places where I live.

I always wanted to be an artist, but for most of my career I was a writer, mostly. After a breakdown in 2018, I made art a central part of what I do.

This photo was taken for a story about that transition, which I wrote for The Daily Telegraph.
